An identity your whole team can use without asking

A logo is not a brand. A brand is the set of decisions that means your Instagram post, your invoice, your packaging and your website all look like they came from the same company — even when four different people made them.

That is what we deliver: not a file, but a system, documented well enough that the next person to design something for you gets it right without calling us.

What the work covers

Projects run from a single logo through to an identity a national retail rollout can be built on.

  • Logo design — primary mark, variations, and the rules for using them
  • Brand identity — colour, typography, imagery direction, iconography, layout
  • Stationery — cards, letterheads, invoices, email signatures
  • Packaging design — shelf presence, print-ready artwork, dieline-accurate
  • Brand guidelines — the document that keeps all of it consistent
  • Complete packages — everything above, delivered as one coherent system

We start with positioning, not with sketches

Before anything is drawn, we work out who you are for, what you are competing against, and what you want a customer to feel in the two seconds before they read a word. Design decisions made without that are decoration, and decoration is what gets redesigned in eighteen months.

Built to survive contact with reality

A mark that only works large, on white, in one colour is a mark that will break the first time it goes on a WhatsApp profile, a delivery box or a signboard. Every identity we deliver is tested small, on dark, in one colour, and in print before it ships.

How a branding project runs

Discovery first — your customers, your competitors, what you are competing against for attention, and what you never want to be mistaken for. Then positioning, written down in a paragraph both sides agree with, because everything visual is judged against it afterwards.

Then directions, presented with the reasoning attached. Then refinement of the chosen one, then application across the things you actually use, then the guidelines that keep it consistent once we are gone.

Rebrand or evolve

If customers already recognise you, a full rebrand throws away equity you spent years paying for. Most established businesses need an evolution: the recognisable core kept, everything around it modernised, tidied and documented for the first time.

We will tell you which of the two your situation calls for, including when the honest answer is the smaller project.

What you own at the end

Working files in formats your printer and your developer can both open, the licensed fonts or a documented alternative, and full copyright transferred on final payment.

No retained rights, no charge to release source files later. An identity you cannot use without calling the agency is not an identity you own.

What branding cannot fix

A new identity will not repair a product people dislike, a service that runs late, or pricing the market has rejected. It makes you look like a company that means it, which is worth a great deal — and worth nothing if the experience behind it contradicts the promise.

Where the problem is the offer rather than the presentation, we will say so. It is a smaller invoice and a better outcome.

Rolling it out without losing the plot

The moment an identity leaves the studio it starts meeting reality: a printer with different colour capability, a sign-maker working from a photograph, a team member building a slide deck at midnight.

That is what the guidelines are for, and why we test the mark small, in one colour and on dark before delivery. An identity that only survives when a designer is watching is not finished.

Naming, if you need it

Sometimes the identity problem is the name. It is hard to say on the phone, it is taken on every platform, it describes something you stopped selling in 2019, or it means something unfortunate in a language your customers speak.

Naming is its own piece of work with its own checks — availability, domain, social handles, trademark search — and it comes before design rather than alongside it. If we think the name is the constraint, we will tell you before the logo round rather than after.

Common questions

How many logo concepts will we see?
The number depends on your package, and it is agreed before we start. What matters more than the count is the reasoning: each concept comes with the thinking behind it, so the choice is a business decision rather than a matter of taste.
Do we own the files and the copyright?
Yes. On final payment you receive the working files and full rights to the identity we produce for you.
Can you rebrand without losing the recognition we already have?
Often, yes — that is an evolution rather than a rebrand, and it is usually the right call for an established business. We will tell you which of the two your situation calls for.
