Video made to be used, not archived

The most common brief we are asked to fix is a beautiful three-minute corporate film that nobody watches and no campaign can use. It cost a lot, it sits on a homepage, and it converts nothing.

We plan video around where it will actually run — the ad, the reel, the landing page — and shoot so that one production day yields the whole set.

What we produce

  • Brand films — the one considered piece, when there is a real story to tell
  • Reels and short-form — the volume format, shot in batches
  • Ad creative — built to a platform spec, with hooks tested in the first three seconds
  • Content marketing video — explainers, testimonials, behind the scenes

One shoot, a month of content

Production days are the expensive part. We plan them so a single day produces the hero piece and the fifteen cutdowns, verticals and stills that keep the calendar fed afterwards — rather than booking a crew again in three weeks.

Post-production included

Editing, colour, sound, subtitles, and the platform-specific exports. Subtitles are not optional: most social video is watched muted, and an unsubtitled ad is an ad most of its audience cannot follow.

How a shoot is planned

Backwards, from where the video will run. A pre-roll ad, a reel, a landing page hero and a testimonial for a sales deck want different framing, different lengths and different first three seconds — and deciding that after the shoot is how footage ends up unusable.

We agree the deliverables list first, then build a shot list that produces all of it, then book a crew for the right amount of time rather than the traditional amount.

One production day, a month of content

Production days are the expensive part, so we plan them to yield the hero piece plus the cutdowns, verticals, stills and subtitled variants that keep a calendar fed for weeks afterwards.

The alternative — booking a crew again in three weeks because nobody thought about the vertical crop — is the most common avoidable cost in video.

Post-production and delivery

Editing, colour, sound, subtitles and platform-specific exports are included rather than quoted as extras.

Subtitles are not optional. Most social video is watched with the sound off, and an unsubtitled ad is an ad that most of its audience cannot follow.

What makes video expensive, and what does not

Crew time and location are the expensive parts. Resolution, cameras and equipment lists mostly are not — the difference between a good shoot and an average one is planning and light, not the badge on the camera.

The reliable way to spend less is to decide the deliverables before the shoot rather than after, and to shoot everything in one block. Most of the waste in video is a second production day that better planning would have removed.

Scripting and the first three seconds

For anything running as an ad, the opening seconds decide the result. If the hook does not land, the production quality behind it is irrelevant, because nobody sees it.

We write and test openings as a separate exercise from the film itself, and produce more than one for the same footage. That costs an edit, not a shoot.

Working with people who are not actors

Most business video involves staff, founders and customers who have never been on camera and do not want to be. Handled badly, that produces the stiff, over-rehearsed footage everyone recognises and nobody watches.

The fix is preparation rather than direction: knowing the questions in advance, shooting conversation rather than scripts, and being willing to spend the first twenty minutes getting nothing usable while people forget the camera is there.

Music, licensing and the things that get videos taken down

Using a popular track without a licence is the most common way a brand video is muted, demonetised or removed — and on some platforms it takes the account's standing with it.

Everything we deliver is cleared for commercial use, with the licence recorded so you can prove it later. Where a trending sound is the point of the format, we will tell you what the risk is rather than pretending there is not one.

Common questions

Do you travel for shoots?
Yes, across Pakistan. Travel and logistics are quoted as part of the project so there are no surprises after the fact.
Can you work with our existing footage?
Often. If you have a library that was never edited into anything usable, an edit-only engagement is frequently the fastest way to get campaign assets.
